Medical Coding

Course Description
Receive industry standard medical coding instruction designed to prepare the student for an outpatient (physician-based)national examination for national certification. Certification is required by most major medical groups. Our Medical Coding program is conducted over the course of two semesters and consists of two courses: Introduction to Medical Terminology for Medical Coding and Medical Coding
Students are required to wear scrubs in the color and style of your choice. It is suggested that you obtain a current medical dictionary as an additional help, but this is not mandatory.

This program consists of two courses taken consecutively over two semesters.

** A payment plan is available when you register online for this class. You are not considered enrolled until payment is received. For the payment plan, half of the tuition is due at registration using a credit or debit card only. The remainder of the tuition is due in monthly installments until paid in full prior to the last day of class.
