                                                           Course Description

 Job Readiness is a course that provides instruction on basic computer skills, résumés, cover letters, references, and thank you letter writing. In addition, the curriculum includes interviewing, overcoming barriers to employment, labor market information, and interest profiler assessment. The class consists of a total of 24 hours of instruction over 4 weeks, with 6 hours per week: 5 hours in-person and 1 hour on-line. Lessons repeat every 4 weeks, so students may enroll at any time and attend for a 4-week period. A certificate is issued for successful completion of the course.

  • Class Days: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday
  • Class Times: In-person, 5:00pm-7:30pm on Tuesday & Thursday; On-line, 8pm-9pm on Wednesday
  • Location: Sunrise Tech Center, Room 14 (for in-person classes)
