Math & English Bootcamp

This free course is designed for students needing to refresh their basic math and English skills, either for preparation for entry into other programs, to take employment-required tests, or for personal enrichment. The course uses on-line and print curricula to individualize student learning based on their needs. Math curriculum will cover such topics as perimeter, area, integers, fractions, decimals, percents, rates, linear equations and proportions. If it is your English you want to focus on, the language arts curriculum covers how to read and analyze informational text, take notes, write about the articles, cite sources, and determine credibility of an author or website. If you struggled with math or English in high school and need to strengthen your skills, this free course is designed to focus on the support you need. This course is highly recommended if you are preparing for the San Juan USD’s Proficiency Exam for Instructional Assistants.
